Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is the first international university that provides Western-style education with UK qualifications in the heart of Central Asia. A broad variety of programs, academic, research courses, and social events are offered in WIUT. In the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), students are free to utilize the computing rooms and innovations laboratories individually or together with their peers. Not only does WIUT focus on the student’s education, but the university also provides a better studying experience while they are there. Students can fully utilize the excellent sporting facilities at the university or even take part in the various social and cultural activities arranged by the Students’ Union.
Founded in 1955, Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) .There are 13 faculties, 62 departments, 23 directions of education. The university and its branches form a total area of 54.4 sq. Kilometers. The university is made up of 380 classrooms, 113 labs, 10 research laboratories, 9 sports centers and fields, 7 dormitories and 11 kitchen facilities. The delegation consisting of the directors of two regional branches of the university visited the Seoul National University in South Korea in December 2015. In recent years, there have been 16 teaching laboratories, nine computer classrooms, four educational centres – Uzbek-Indian IT Center, Uzbek-Korean IT Centre, Plaza Uzbek-Korean Centre, Regional Academic Center ‘CISCO’.
In 1992, Tashkent pedagogical world languages university and Russian language and literature universities accompanied each other. Uzbekistan state world language university established cooperation in the field of international relationship. The University is working with 6 OTM according to a two-sided partnership. It is carrying out duties such as opening branches of higher education establishments, organizing extra faculties, participating actively at international projects and attracting more investments.
In 1935, Tashkent Medical Academy was founded in Tashkent, the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan. Foreign students who study at our institute have everything they need to practice the most humane profession. It is identified that most foreign students give preference to this institute due to high quality education and the level of education. The Academy’s primary institutional bases are 1st, 2nd and 3rd Clinics, Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Centers, Republican and City Clinical Hospitals. The Academy is available to students from Asia and Latin America countries. It is one of the oldest medical academies in Uzbekistan. It was the first medical academy in the world to be opened in 1935 and one of the first of its kind in the Soviet Union.
